THE TERRACE HOUSE

rural inspiration

A restored XVIII century ancient house located in Terres De L' Ebre, Catalonia. This house is the testimony of a bygone era, but not forgotten, where respect for the place and traditional technique came together. For those who do not know the place, it is a land of olive trees, a mountainous area, far from the coast, but with the mediterranean sea on the horizon. In the distance you can see it, always present, accompanying the visitor.

Stone terraces organize the land by levels, showing dense groves along the path, until reaching the heart of the estate, where a small construction from 1870 emerges.

A single volume, a single space, with a tile roof, a wooden structure and stone walls covered with white lime. Local materials, of austere origin, but well preserved, convey the atmosphere and knowledge of a bygone era.

TAKE YOURSELF BACK IN TIME AND GET INSPIRED

Built in 1870, this small refuge is standing firm after 150 years and has now been reinvented for those in search of a calmer and serene life where the well-being of oneself is the top priority.  Step away from modern living and celebrate sustainable simplicity through immersion into nature.
You are about to start a journey to a bystanding era, simple and austere. A time in which all the efforts of the human being consist of satisfying the vital needs of food, rest and reproduction.

A PLACE TO CONNECT WITH YOURSELF

In a rural environment, away from the big cities and flanked by 300 centenary olive trees, The Terrace House offers serenity. Find your meditation corner or spread your yoga mat on the wooden deck hidden among the olive trees (its easy to find it, just climb the path that takes you to the hill)

Horno de leña

wood kitchen

Cooking with fire, as our ancestors did, exalters the origin of food and close our natural relationship with them.

For the lovers of FIRE AND FOOD the masía has at your disposal a fire wood kitchen integrated by a handmade stone oven and a grill.

traditional organic olive grove

Our olive grove consists of over two hundred centenary olive trees, among which are two of the native varieties of the Ebro lands: Morruda and Sevillenca.

From the end of October to February, you can participate, if you wish, in the olive harvesting process and thus gain a deeper understanding of the olive grove and its biodiversity. This experience is exclusively for our guests.

In addition, throughout the year and in the heart of nature, we offer various activities and informative workshops aimed at sharing the culture of the olive grove, olive oil, and the olive itself with those interested.
